By virtue of my background in International Development and Anthropology, I'm fascinated by people and their lives. Documentary making excites me for this reason. I want to meet people, hear their stories and be a part of documenting them so that they can be shared.
I enjoy filming, writing, photography, cooking and jewellery making in my free time!
Experience
SET DEC TRAINEE AND RESEARCHER
As a Set Dec Trainee and Researcher on Bernstein for Netflix, I spent a lot of my time researching reference information, photos and videos which I presented in online and physical files that the Set Decorator used during meetings with the designer. I helped with purchasing and hiring props from various prop houses, dressing props on to set, and assisting the Set Dec department and Art Director with daily tasks such as research, expenses, sourcing equipment and so on. I also spent time painting and altering props in the workshop.
RUNNER
Production runner on Otto Baxter's Puppet Asylum by Story Films for Sky. I supported Production with their daily operations and provided logistical support for the Locations team. I coordinated crew transport and vehicle hire, sourced equipment for various departments and completed digital purchase orders as well as budget logs. I also worked closely with the Director, First AD and DoP to operate equipment on set, and chaperoning cast members.
LOGGER
Logger on Otto Baxter: Not a F*cking Horror Story by Story Films for Sky, as well as on Alone by The Garden for Channel 4. Experience exporting from Avid and running audio through Trint. Liaised with the Production Coordinator, Line Producer, Edit Producer and Editors everyday in order to meet tight deadlines. Also updated master log everyday with a summary of the footage.
SOUND RESEARCHER
Sound archive researcher for Mark Edwards's upcoming exhibition on biodiversity loss. Researched animal call recordings and regularly met with Mark in order to present these recordings and refine them in line with his vision for the project.
